After installing Delta Translator and rebooting (restarting) of your computer, a Delta Translator icon  will be added to the far right of your Task Bar (the same bar that contains the Start button) near icons for other programs and utilities on your computer such as your anit-virus program, volume control, time, etc.. This icon displayed on your Task Bar indicates that Delta Windows Translator is ready when you are.

Using Delta Windows Translator is simple and fast. Just highlight any English or Brazilian Portuguese text you wish to translate in any Windows® program you have opened (e.g. text in a Word for Windows document, Excel spreadsheet, etc.) and then simply press the "default" hotkey combination F-12 + Ctrl. Within a few seconds, Delta Windows Translator will start translating. When it is finished, it will replace the original text you highlighted with the translation so you may want to make a backup copy of the original text.

Clicking the  icon once with your RIGHT mouse button will display the menu (shown below) where you may change the "default" Translation Hotkey combination to another combination as well open the Translation Options window, set the program to Auto-Detect the language or set the specific direction (English -to- Portuguese or Portuguese -to- English), Open Delta Translator or Load Delta Web Translator.

Clicking the  icon once with your LEFT mouse button will open the Hotkey Selection window (shown below) where you may change the default hotkey combination from F-12 + Ctrl to any other "F" key either with or without the Ctrl key (check box next to Ctrl in the window). If you change the hotkey combination and the program fails to operate it is most likely because the hotkey combination you selected is already being used by another program on your computer to accomplish another function.
