General Notices
Spoofing & Spamming
Starting in May, 2006, and
continuing non-stop well through 2007, DeltaTransator.com
has been the victim of e-mail FRAUD by a professional spamming company
that is paid to send out spam e-mail advertising throughout the world for
clients who specifically hire them to do this. Through careful reading
of the full headers, these spam e-mails (many of which have been returned
to us as undeliverable) have been found to originate from various European
and Pacific ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and come from a variety of
countries including Russia, Poland, Germany, France, Spain, Turkey, Israel,
Malaysia, Singapore, Australia and others.
This professional spam e-mail
company has been "spoofing" (fraudulently using without our consent and/or
permission) our @deltatranslator.com e-mail address to send
out a variety of spam e-mails about various company's stocks. These e-mails
only appear to be sent from DeltaTransator.com
but
were, in fact, NOT sent by us because we NEVER send any advertising,
e-zines, or other such unsolicited e-mail communications and certainly
NEVER
anything that could even remotely be considered as spam.
These
fraudulent
spam e-mails
may be from Jacob Fontenot,
Miriam
Valdez, Marina Randall or other fraudulent name @deltatranslator.com
such as zhckqqssetsw or support,
info
or other seemingly legitimate address. If only a series of meaningless
letters, the hodgepodge of letters occurring before @deltatranslator.com
varies from one e-mail to the next as well as the subject which may be
high
spirited,
Salvation Army or just a single word or another two
or three word phrase.
NONE OF THESE SPAM E-MAILS WERE INITIATED
OR SENT BY
DeltaTransator.com.
If you have received any
of these e-mails, we sincerely apologize and can assure you that we are
doing everything possible to stop the party or parties responsible from
sending this spam e-mail and fraudulently using our e-mail address to do
so. However, this is difficult given the fact there is no such thing as
an all encompassing "Internet police". As a consequence, we can only report
each individual instance of this abuse to the specific ISP involved.
Software Price Increase
In
the past five years, the Brazilian real has made the most
impressive gains against the US dollar of any currency in the world. As
of the end of 2007, the dollar is at a seven year low against the real,
having lost almost 20% of its value since the start of 2007 alone. Because
Delta Translator is produced in Brazil and we purchase the program from
the publisher in reais, we have attempted to maintain the
price of Delta Translator software as low as possible. However, recent
dramatic declines in the value of the US dollar as converted to Brazilian
reais have regretfully forced us to increase the price of the software.
